Pearson Test of English
PTE Academic is widely accepted by universities in the USA, UK, Australia, and other countries. It was developed by Person Language Tests, a division of the Pearson PLC group, and is endorsed by GMAC® (Graduate Management Admission Council), the organization that owns GMAT® (Graduate Management Admission Test).
PTE Academic is a computer-based exam that focuses on assessing real-life English skills used in academic settings. Throughout the test, students are exposed to various accents and academic language commonly encountered in English-speaking higher education institutions.

PTE Academic Structure:
The test is conducted in a single 2-hour test session and is divided into three timed sections. It begins with a 1-minute personal introduction. The structure is as follows:

Test Scores
Test Scores are typically available online within 5 business days after taking the test. Test takers can report scores to any number of institutions free of charge. Selected institutions can usually retrieve scores online within 48 hours.
